Spring of Culture 2011 encourages you not to
miss the educational workshops that are going
to take place parallel to its excitingly diverse
programme during the whole month. Knowing that
our audiences also admire other aspects than the
performance itself, an attractive list of workshops
has been prepared for you.
Join us in a workshop where you create sculptures
out of unprinted newspaper to tell the Stories of
Faces. For all story-tellers and story-lovers, learn
how the puppet turtle Pekka was created and how
to make puppets just like her that are enjoyable
to play with. Moving on to the oriental part of our
world, how about putting on some Bollywood
dance moves that will surely awaken some joints in
your body with our Merchants of Bollywood dance
troupe. And haven’t you always wanted to try “Tap
Dancing”? Then join the New York Song and Dance
Company in learning some basic tap dance moves
and rhythms.
Note that all the workshops are free of charge,
but do not forget that registration is a must due to
limited capacity.
Please register by calling 39999521.
